Tonight's HMWK: finish ionic bonding practice/quiz WS - remember to name all compounds on both sides. Also read p. 688-692 and work #1-4 on p. 692 and # 11, 14, 17, 21 on p. 714
Today in class: Ionic Bonding (application of all the lewis dot diagrams and our discussions of stability last week) and Naming Ionic Compounds.
Tomorrow: Polyatomic Ions (they're easy to add once you get basic ideas of Ionic bonds)
AND some relation to Acid/Base chemistry and Earth Science stuff...
Wednesday: Quiz over elements #1-40 and your 15 additional: Ag, Sn, I, Xe, Ba, W, Pt, Au, Hg, Pb, Bi, Rn, Ra, U, Pu.
