Lab: Electromagnets on Thursday, Exam: Electricity and Magnetism Monday

Today in class we prepared a bit for an electromagnet lab on Thursday; determined everyone's own IV and DV, basic procedure and materials lists.
If you have any materials that are not readily available in class, you must turn those in to me tomorrow so I can get them ready for you.

We'll likely have a short quiz tomorrow on magnetism (we didn't have the usual one last Friday as we had lab activities) after finishing our notes on magnetism (see last week's post)

Also, there was a request to share a folder where you could access all files for the class.
I can't guarantee that it's organized as well as this blog, but since phones can access it easier, here it is:
Physical Earth Google Drive SM2 folder
Let me know if it works better on your phone and I may try to streamline the folder organization for the future!

Items to start reviewing for the upcoming exam:  Chapter 13 and 14 section reviews and chapter reviews, as well as the problems in the back of the book.  My teacher's edition answer key is available to you anytime to check answers; just ask.

Also, one of the awesome students in 7th period requested a huge study guide for this exam.  Here you go!  :)
Electricity T/G/T game
Electrostatics WS with answers
Electrostatics Quizzes
Ohm's Law Simulation Optional Assignment <-- This must be turned in before the exam, as with the other ones from this unit!
Magnetism T/G/T game
Magnetism Jeopardy
Faraday: electromagnetic induction Optional Assignment <-- This must be turned in before the exam as well.
