On Friday most classes started the marble GPE-KE lab (get a paper copy here) and most didn't finish it. We will finish the lab, graph it, and share on Wednesday.
Today we discussed the worksheet on Calories & Respiration (and the interesting question of where your fat goes when you lose weight....????) and graded the Chapter 5 Reading Guide and practice problems WS in class so you will get it back tomorrow.
Also on the agenda: Discuss the moon observation project - Ryan C. was one of the only people to witness the moon this weekend, and he claims he saw it last night around 6pm, right at the horizon, and was a very tiny crescent. Be on the lookout for it tonight around dusk; Mars will also be faintly visible, low on the horizon, for about 30 minutes after dusk, to the right of the moon.
Tomorrow we will play a review game; you will be competing in groups of 3 for bonus points. Play well and you ensure that your class will get to play in future units.
Homework tonight? STUDY - Thursday will come up fast!
